Job summary

Tradestaff New Zealand is seeking skilled Fitter/Turner to join our Hawke's Bay opportunities. You will interpret drawings, assemble and fit metal parts, and set up machining tools, with on-site installation as required.

We value reliability and trade experience (3+ years), own tools, and references. Hawke's Bay work may include travel to Auckland, Waikato, Wellington and Bay of Plenty regions; competitive hourly pay and solid career progression await.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Fitter/Turner or a relevant trade qualification (preferred but not essential).
• Your own tools and reliable transport.
• At least 2 solid work references.
• A strong commitment to Health & Safety.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

About the Role

Tradestaff has multiple opportunities for experienced Fitters/Turners across Hawkes Bay region. While Hawkes Bay will be your predominate region of work you may be required to work in the Auckland, Waikato, Wellington and Bay of Plenty Regions – this will be discussed with the successful applicant

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

We want reliable, skilled tradespeople who take pride in their work. Ideally, you’ll have:

• 3+ years’ experience as a Fitter/Turner OR a relevant trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Your own tools and reliable transport
• At least 2 solid work references
• A strong commitment to Health & Safety
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
