Our Mataura plant is our only beef-only process plant. Being located just 40-45 minutes from Invercargill, it is a great workplace for supporting work-life balance. Alliance Group has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Maintenance Engineer/Fitter at our Mataura Plant. We are looking for a motivated person based at our Mataura Plant to maintain, install, and support operations and operational equipment and through effective plant maintenance minimise plant downtime. This position reports to the mechanical supervisor.
Ideally you will have:
Your core role will need you to perform the required planned preventative maintenance and while maintaining a very high level of safety standards. You will maintain and repair machinery and processing equipment, determine the root cause and replace damaged or defective components as needed along with addressing breakdowns ensuring minimum downtime to the business.
