Alliance Group Limited seeks an experienced Technical Compliance Manager to lead the Mataura Plant’s technical and compliance teams, delivering food safety, quality verification, animal welfare and regulatory programmes.
You will foster a high‑performance culture, partner with the Plant Manager on strategic initiatives and drive continuous improvement across hygiene, audits, and policy compliance to meet customer and regulatory expectations.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Compliance Manager to lead the Mataura Plant’s technical and compliance teams and ensure the effective delivery of food safety, quality, verification, animal welfare and regulatory programmes.

You are an experienced compliance and quality systems leader who brings sound judgement, strong attention to detail and a practical, systems-focused approach. You communicate confidently with teams, senior leaders, customers, auditors and regulatory representatives, and you can plan, analyse issues and solve problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As a people leader, you set clear expectations, coach for success and create a high-performance culture. You are comfortable managing risk, responding to adverse events, leading change and balancing operational priorities with agreed budgets and business objectives.
You will bring previous experience in compliance and quality systems within a manufacturing environment, supported by a tertiary qualification in Microbiology, Food Technology or a related discipline. Industry qualifications in HACCP, animal welfare and internal auditing are expected, along with working knowledge of relevant food safety legislation, MPI requirements and the Health and Safety at Work Act. You will also be confident using IT and common business software.
