Job summary

Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) in New Zealand seeks a CA-qualified (or near-qualified) accountant to broaden experience across financial reporting, fixed assets, tax and systems. You will join a collaborative finance team supporting LIC and its subsidiaries, reporting to the Group Financial Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

CA-qualified or near-qualified accountant with experience in financial reporting, fixed assets, tax and systems
Experience with IFRS 16 lease accounting and statutory reporting
Ability to partner with multiple teams and support system administration and improvements

Responsibilities

Lead fixed asset accounting and related reporting, including IFRS 16 and tax considerations.
Assist preparation of monthly reporting, forecasts, reconciliations, budgets and statutory accounts.
Support tax compliance activities, including monthly and quarterly returns.
Collaborate with Commercial, International and Technology teams to support financial systems administration (SAP and Business One)
