Job summary

Iplex Pipelines NZ is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join the Auckland finance team. You will own a broad portfolio across financial reporting, balance sheet governance, fixed assets, statutory compliance and continuous improvement, partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Sales and Supply Chain.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will deliver month-end reporting and analyses, maintain strong financial controls, and support budgeting, forecasting and audit

Qualifications

CA/CPA or equivalent qualification (or working towards it).
4+ years of financial accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial controls.

Responsibilities

Delivering accurate month-end reporting, journals and financial analysis.
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls.
Managing fixed assets, depreciation, leases and capex reporting.
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and group reporting requirements.
Assisting with GST, FBT, statutory reporting and audit activities.
Monitoring customer rebates and accruals.
Driving process improvements and optimising finance systems and reporting.
Building strong relationships across the business and providing trusted financial support.
