Job summary

Ministry for Primary Industries NZ in Wellington is seeking a fixed-term Business Systems Support Administrator to cover parental leave. The role supports FMIS and related services, helping ensure smooth operation while assisting users across the organisation.

You will work with the Systems Accounting team, build relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to system upgrades, access management and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for FMIS-related enquiries and requests
• Monitor shared inboxes, manage requests, and escalate issues as required
• Assist with troubleshooting system issues and resolving user queries
• Support user access management and financial delegation administration
• Build positive relationships with users and stakeholders across MPI
• Deliver timely, high-quality customer service and support
• Help improve the Ci Anywhere end-user experience
• Contribute to system upgrades and finance system improvement initiatives
• Support Systems Accountants with day-to-day system administration activities
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
