Job summary

ASB Bank is seeking a Systems Specialist for Finance Systems Support within the Digital Workplace Platform. You will help keep core finance and procurement tools reliable, scalable, and improving, working in a small, autonomous, cross-functional agile team.

The role requires a practical mix of integration, application support, and platform administration across cloud and on‑premise environments, with strong debugging and collaboration skills. Auckland-based, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise SaaS and on‑premises applications.
• Working knowledge of system-to-system integration (APIs, SFTP, SQL transformations).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Oracle, Google).
• Understanding of Agile ways of working and collaborative delivery.
• Linux and Windows server administration, including patching and troubleshooting.
• Minimum 2–4 years' experience in these key areas.

Responsibilities

• Support ASB's core finance and procurement systems and ensure reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate in a fully cross‑functional Agile team to prioritise and deliver initiatives.
• Troubleshoot issues across multiple layers of enterprise systems.
• Work with technical and business stakeholders to improve stability and performance.
