Job summary

Jacobsen, a private family-owned flooring group, seeks a finance leader to manage day-to-day finance, ensure strong controls and drive EBITDA, cash conversion and working capital improvements. You will own the D365 F&O ERP and lead Finance's AI and automation initiatives with the broader business.

The role reports to the Head of Finance and requires a tertiary accounting qualification with strong month-end, budgeting and reporting skills. NZ-based head office is in Auckland.

Qualifications

• Tertiary accounting qualification is required.
• CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred or in progress.
• Experience with month-end close, reporting, budgeting and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate monthly close for the Flooring Group entities.
• Support year-end statutory reporting and audits.
• Prepare management reports vs budget/forecast and investigate variances.
• Maintain budgets, forecasts and financial models with clear assumptions.
• Provide concise reporting for senior leadership and the Board.
