Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide trusted financial leadership across the organisation. Based in Thames, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cashflow management and annual plans.

You will work with senior leaders, support decision-making, strengthen controls and guide the finance team to deliver high-quality services for whānau and communities.

Qualifications

  • Qualified accounting or finance professional with CA/CPA or equivalent membership preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven financial management and control experience in health, community, or not-for-profit settings.
  • Commitment to kaupapa Māori values, whānau wellbeing and working respectfully across diverse communities.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and annual financial processes.
  • Practical knowledge of financial systems, internal controls and audits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting with analysis for leadership and governance.
  • Coordinate organisation-wide budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
  • Provide financial advice to managers to strengthen decision-making and contract performance.
  • Oversee creditors, debtors, cashflow, payroll support and general financial operations.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, policies, procedures and systems.
  • Support year-end processes, external audit requirements and risk management.
  • Develop and mentor finance team members and foster continuous improvement.
