All Trades Contract Services, Hamilton-based, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the leadership team. This hands-on role combines strategic oversight with day-to-day finance operations to strengthen financial performance and governance.

You will deliver accurate financial reporting, insightful commercial analysis and robust financial planning to support sustainable growth and decision-making across the business.

With our Head Office based in Hamilton and an expanding workforce and client base across New Zealand, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our leadership team and play an important role in the next stage of our growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a hands-on senior finance role for someone who combines strong financial management capability with commercial thinking, sound judgement and a genuine desire to contribute to the wider success of the business.

This is a full-time, office-based position at our Hamilton Head Office, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for protecting and strengthening the financial performance, sustainability and integrity of All Trades.

You will provide the CEO and leadership team with accurate financial information, meaningful commercial insight and sound financial advice to support decision-making and sustainable growth.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Financial management, reporting and analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Cashflow forecasting and liquidity management
• Monitoring business and commercial performance
• Maintaining strong financial controls, systems and processes
• Supporting statutory, taxation and financial compliance requirements
• Providing commercial analysis and insight to the CEO and leadership team
• Identifying financial risks, opportunities and emerging issues
• Supporting strategic planning and business growth initiatives
• Leading and supporting the day-to-day finance function
• Continually looking for opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting and business performance

Importantly, we are looking for someone who does more than report the numbers. Our Finance Manager needs to understand what is driving them, identify issues early, challenge constructively and help the business make better decisions.

About You

You will be an experienced finance professional who is comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on.

You will bring strong financial and commercial capability, attention to detail and the confidence to work closely with a CEO and senior leaders.

Just as importantly, you will be someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly and understands that strong financial leadership is about enabling the business to succeed, not simply producing reports.

You will ideally bring:

• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or comparable senior finance role
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management experience
• Sound commercial judgement and analytical capability
• Strong financial systems and process capabilityThe ability to translate financial information into clear business insight
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• The ability to constructively challenge assumptions and decisions when required
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• A proactive approach, with the ability to identify issues before they become problems
