GEA New Zealand is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the accounting function for its New Zealand entities in Hamilton. The role focuses on governance, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow oversight and partnering with local and global stakeholders to drive financial performance.
You will ensure accurate reporting, build robust controls, and support audits and tax compliance while working with cross-functional teams to improve processes and deliver commercial insights.

The GEA Farm Technologies Division in New Zealand is proud to support dairy farmers around the world to produce leading dairy products. The division encompasses our Dairy Equipment business (Milfos and Westfalia brandsamongst others) based out of Hamilton and our Dairy Hygiene & Animal Health business (FIL brand) based out of Mount Maunganui.
We are now looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our New Zealand business, based in Hamilton.
This is a hands-on Finance Manager role with ownership of the accounting function, financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow oversight, controls and business partnering activities for our relevant New Zealand legal entities. In this role you will play a key part in providing financial governance, commercial insight and decision support to local and global stakeholders.
You will work closely with finance colleagues, shared service partners, internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial management, while also helping to improve processes, strengthen controls and support business performance.
You will be an experienced finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, working across functions and providing clear, commercially sound financial guidance. You will bring strong accounting discipline, sound judgement and the confidence to partner with stakeholders across the business.
Qualified Chartered Accountant or similar qualification.
Strong financial management, accounting, reporting and cost accounting experience.
Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience would be an advantage.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of financial software and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
Clear communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across departments and with external partners.
A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
