Job summary

GEA New Zealand is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the accounting function for its New Zealand entities in Hamilton. The role focuses on governance, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow oversight and partnering with local and global stakeholders to drive financial performance.

You will ensure accurate reporting, build robust controls, and support audits and tax compliance while working with cross-functional teams to improve processes and deliver commercial insights.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting discipline and financial governance.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders and provide commercial financial guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting function across the NZ entities and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow visibility and financial performance analysis.
• Provide financial advice and recommendations to support management decisions.
• Prepare reconciliations, review monthly statements and report variances to budget/forecast.
• Support statutory accounts, audits and tax reviews.
• Ensure GST, FBT and RWT compliance and filing.
• Strengthen internal controls and collaborate with shared service teams.
