Job summary

GEA Avapac based in Horotiu is a powder packing company offering end-to-end bagging solutions for food and dairy powders. We seek an Electrical Assembly Technician to assemble, wire and test Avapac technology, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

You will work with hand tools and electrical test gear, read wiring diagrams, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Electrical registration with current practicing license.
  • Able to read electrical wiring diagrams and follow build steps.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and electrical test gear.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to process improvements.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble sub-assemblies and final machine assemblies with sound assembly principles.
  • Support pre-commissioning activities as needed.
  • Disassemble and prepare Avapac machines for shipping.
  • Revise procedures to modify drawings per electrical designs.
  • Create and update assembly and safety procedures for Avapac technology.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and develop tools to enhance productivity.
  • Provide regular feedback on product or process issues.
  • Uphold safety, efficiency and customer excellence.

Electrical Assembly Technician

Are you passionate about hands-on technical work and eager to be part of a high performing team? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Assembly Technician to assemble, wire and test our technology. In this role, you will play a vital part in assembling Avapac technology, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble various sub-assemblies, including some mechanical processes and complete final machine assemblies, applying sound knowledge of assembly principles.
  • Support pre-commissioning activities as needed.
  • Provide support in the disassembly and preparation of Avapac machines and equipment for shipping.
  • Follow and help revise procedures to modify drawings, ensuring compliance with electrical engineering designs and performance specifications.
  • Assist in creating and updating assembly and safety procedures for Avapac technology.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and assist in developing and implementing tools and methods to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide regular feedback regarding product or process issues.
  • Commitment to upholding safety, efficiency, and customer excellence.
About You:
  • Electrical registration with a current practicing license.
