Job summary

Team Global Express in Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to deliver commercial insight and challenge the thinking of operational leaders. This hands-on role focuses on turning numbers into clear strategic actions and driving stronger business performance.

You will partner with leaders, deliver monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting, analyze costs and trends, build robust business cases, and translate financial analysis into practical recommendations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience across commercial finance, management accounting, or business partnering.
• CA/CPA qualification, or working towards it.
• Strong analytical capability with large datasets.
• Sound commercial judgement and ability to see beyond numbers.
• Excellent stakeholder management with influencing skills.
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

We’re now looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide commercial insight, challenge thinking and help our operational leaders make better-informed decisions.

About The Role - Mō Te Tūranga

This is a hands-on partnering role where you’ll work closely with operational leaders to understand the story behind the numbers and help drive stronger business performance.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Partnering with operational leaders to provide commercial advice and support performance
• Delivering monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Analysing key costs, trends and performance drivers to identify risks and opportunities
• Building and reviewing robust business cases to support commercial decisions
• Translating financial analysis into practical recommendations for the business

To be successful in this role, you’ll combine strong financial expertise with commercial curiosity and the confidence to build trusted relationships across the business.
