Job summary

Cyclone is seeking a motivated and reliable Support Technician to join our team in Auckland. You will install, test and deploy devices for customers on site, ensuring they are operational and meet organisational requirements, while delivering friendly, responsive service.

You’ll work with education and commercial clients, escalate complex issues to senior engineers, and maintain accurate records of incidents and steps taken. A strong customer-service mindset and meticulous approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical certifications.
• Experience handling computer hardware and deploying technology.
• Understanding device network connectivity and troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent relationship management skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the proven ability to plan and prioritise your work.
• Creativity with problem-solving and the ability to do so under time pressure.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Sufficient strength and fitness for physical labour.

Responsibilities

• Helping with hardware setup and deployment.
• Resolving service requests within assigned expectations.
• Escalating complex queries to senior engineers, and working with them on resolution.
