Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and repair customer equipment in designated territory with a focus on elevating work platforms and telehandlers, remotely from the branch location. The role requires travel to customer sites and on-site servicing where feasible.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in elevating work platform technology or related field.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, servicing and repairs of equipment focusing on elevating work platforms and telehandlers.
• Travel to customer sites and complete work on-site when possible.
• Complete paperwork and inspection forms accurately.
• Coordinate with Field Service Coordinator and Branch Manager on service activities and new business.
• Liaise with technical support as required.
• Perform van audits and stock checks.
• Generate sales and service leads where possible.
