Job summary

EmployMe Solutions in Blenheim seeks an experienced Field Service Technician to service mobile equipment across orchards, packhouses, and industrial sites. You'll split time between field repairs and workshop tasks, keeping gear reliable and downtime minimal.

You’ll work with a supportive team, receive a company vehicle, overtime opportunities, on-call allowance, ongoing training, and practical tools. Trade-qualified technicians with solid diagnostic skills and strong customer communication

Qualifications

• Trade qualified with Level 4 or equivalent.
• Experience with industrial machinery is essential.
• Strong diagnostic skills and proactive problem-solving.
• Excellent communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and perform on-site and workshop repairs.
• Carry out planned servicing to keep gear reliable.
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Complete pre-delivery checks before equipment leaves site.

You'll be trusted to manage your own jobs and deal directly with customers - no micromanagement, just solid expectations.
