Job summary

FIRST Security is seeking a Field Service Officer for Auckland to install and maintain electronic monitoring equipment for individuals serving non-custodial sentences. You will be the first contact for equipment issues and work with a field support team to ensure problems are resolved quickly.

You will operate on a 24/7 rotating roster, with full training and a supportive team environment, and may assist in other business sectors as required.

Qualifications

• Can-do attitude.
• Excellent people and listening skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to pass Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check.
• A current full NZ Driver's Licence.
• A COA or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Install and test EMS equipment at locations in the community (courts, prisons, homes).
• Be the first point of contact for equipment failure and alert activations; liaise with field support to resolve issues quickly.
• Attend required locations to install or call out EMS devices and support the community under non-custodial supervision.

About the role:

Field Service Officer - Auckland

As an EMS (Electronic Monitoring Service) Field Officer at FIRST Security, you will be responsible for ensuring electronic monitoring equipment is correctly installed and working properly on people in the Community serving a non-custodial sentence, you will attend to locations such as courts, prisons, and residential homes, as required to conduct these installs or call outs.

You will be our first point of contact for any equipment failure, alert activations and you will liaise with our field support team to ensure issues are attended to and fixed quickly.

Rotating roster

• Pay rate $28.95 per hourHours of work - 24/7 rotating roster
• Full and ongoing Training provided
• A supportive Team environment

You will be required to assist in other business sector if required.

What we need you to have:

• ‘Can do' attitude
• Excellent people and listening skills with the ability to build relationshipsEffective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think on your feet quickly in challenging environments
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle stress and pressure
• A current full NZ Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check
• A current Certificate of Approval (COA) or the ability to obtain one
