Job summary

SD Aluminium is seeking a proactive Sales Representative based at our Albany office in New Zealand. You will handle customer enquiries, quotations and orders, while also visiting prospective and existing customers to develop new business and maintain long-term relationships.

Required: strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills, plus willingness to travel locally for customer visits and a valid NZ driver license.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service or business development.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily sales and customer service duties at our Albany office.
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.
• Understand customer requirements and follow up on enquiries, quotations, orders and after-sales matters.
• Proactively identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities.
• Visit prospective and existing customers as required.
• Introduce customers to the company's products, services and supply capabilities.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers and build long-term relationships.
• Plan customer visits and manage daily work schedules.
• Follow up on sales leads and maintain accurate records.
