Job summary

Placements24 on behalf of our client seeks a Field Operations Manager to oversee upstream production activities in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This leadership role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective field operations, including production, maintenance and personnel, while targets are met and standards upheld.

You will lead field staff, manage budgets, drive safety, and collaborate with engineering to optimize production and address technical issues in a challenging environment.

Qualifications

• Degree required in petroleum or chemical engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in upstream oil and gas field operations, with at least 4 in a supervisory role.
• Proven track record of safely and efficiently managing complex field operations.
• Knowledge of production optimization techniques and equipment.
