Placements24 in Queenstown, NZ is seeking a proactive Field Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team. You'll service and repair equipment on client premises, diagnose issues, and ensure peak performance through hands-on problem solving.

Travel to various locations is required; strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills are essential, along with the ability to read manuals and report work accurately.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar field service role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Valid driver's license for travel to client sites around Queenstown.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes of failures.
• Perform necessary repairs and replace faulty components.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and company procedures.
• Document service activities, parts used, and time spent accurately.
• Provide basic operational guidance to clients on equipment usage and care.
