Job summary

TegelFoods Ltd at the New Plymouth plant is seeking process workers who are enthusiastic, physically fit, hardworking and reliable to help deliver quality products in New Zealand.

As a process worker in the Hanging Bay department, you will work Monday–Friday from 11:15am in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role requires core strength for heavy lifting, with overtime and an immediate start; a pre-employment medical and drug screen are part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and punctual to attend daily shifts.
• Ability to work effectively in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting regularly.

Responsibilities

• Perform processing tasks in the Hanging Bay department in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintain productivity while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Be flexible for overtime and occasional Saturday work when required.

As a process worker in our Hanging Bay department working Monday - Friday from 11.15am you will experience a work environment that is fast paced, dynamic and very team oriented. Core strength would be needed to meet the physical requirements of the role. Flexibility to assist with overtime and an immediate start will be highly valued by Tegel.

Ideally, successful candidates will possess the following attributes and experience:

• Reliable, punctual and determined to be at work every day
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Must be physically fit, strong and able do heavy lifting on regular basis
• Ability to work in a team environment

We work Monday-Friday with overtime available and the odd Saturday when needed. We work most public holidays. We also have a variety of different departments and start times which is great for a work-life balance. On the job training will be provided to the successful candidates.
