Job summary

Tegel Foods Ltd in New Plymouth is seeking reliable process workers for the Hanging Bay department. The role is 11:15am start, Monday–Friday with overtime and occasional Saturdays. You will work in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment and must be physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting.

On‑the‑job training is provided and applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit. The recruitment process includes a pre‑employment medical and a drug screen.

As a process worker in our Hanging Bay department working Monday - Friday from 11.15am you will experience a work environment that is fast paced, dynamic and very team oriented. Core strength would be needed to meet the physical requirements of the role. Flexibility to assist with overtime and an immediate start will be highly valued by Tegel.

Ideally, successful candidates will possess the following attributes and experience:

• Reliable, punctual and determined to be at work every day
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Must be physically fit, strong and able do heavy lifting on regular basis
• Ability to work in a team environment

We work Monday-Friday with overtime available and the odd Saturday when needed. We work most public holidays. We also have a variety of different departments and start times which is great for a work-life balance. On the job training will be provided to the successful candidates.
