135 LIMITED is hiring fast-food cooks in Wellington. The role involves taking orders, cooking burgers and other fast-food items, and ensuring cleanliness and efficiency in a busy kitchen.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of relevant experience or NZ Level 1 qualification (or equivalent), or a bachelor’s degree with strong learning ability to develop practical food-service skills on the job. This is a full-time permanent position in Wellington.

Mansioni

• Take customer orders for food and drinks, serve items and process payments.

• Wash, measure, mix, and cut ingredients using kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of food prep areas, equipment and utensils.
• Order fast food supplies and receive deliveries of ingredients.
• Arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages as required.
• Prepare a limited range of food items in a fast-food environment.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by the employer.

Job description

• taking customer orders for food and drinks, serving items, and processing payments

• washing, measuring, mixing, and cutting ingredients, including the ability to cut and prepare fish using kitchen equipment such as grills, microwaves, and deep fryers safely and efficiently
• maintaining cleanliness of food preparation areas, cooking equipment, and utensils
• ordering fast food supplies and accepting deliveries of ingredients
• arranging delivery of prepared food and beverages when required
• preparing a limited range of food items in a fast-food environment
• carrying out other reasonable tasks as directed by the employer

Location: Wellington

Pay rate: 24.00 – 30.00 New Zealand dollars per hour
Days required: Monday to Sunday
Hours per week: At least 35

Job Requirement

Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience or a relevant NZ level 1 qualification or an equivalent overseas qualification is required, or a bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline with strong learning abilities and a willingness to develop practical food‑service skills through on‑the‑job training.
