Mills Recruitment is seeking a Sales & Design professional for an Ashburton irrigation business. The role blends customer relationships with practical irrigation design, sales and project support, focusing on centre pivot systems.

You will work with farmers to understand needs, design solutions, prepare quotes and drive projects from concept to handover in a dynamic agricultural setting.

Formación

• Experience in irrigation, agriculture, engineering, water management or a related industry.
• Experience in technical sales, design or a similar role.
• Ability to read plans and work confidently with measurements and calculations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A current driver's licence.

Responsabilidades

• Build relationships with farmers, growers, contractors and suppliers.
• Meet customers and understand their irrigation requirements.
• Design centre pivot irrigation systems and develop property layouts.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, equipment specifications and technical documentation.
• Calculate water requirements, flow rates, pressures and system capacity.
• Work with suppliers and installation teams to deliver projects.
• Support site visits, installation, commissioning and handover.
• Identify new sales opportunities and manage projects through to completion.
