Job summary

Halter is transforming farming with smart collars and an IoT network. We seek a Technical Specialist - Network to own first-line resolution of connectivity issues, build internal tooling, and enable the T2 team to self-solve more problems.

You will be a bridge between Support, Product, and field teams to improve customer outcomes. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a customer-facing role, strong communication, and interest in networking concepts.

Qualifications

• You’ve spent 2+ years in a customer-facing role with a genuine care for customers and animals.
• Strong communication and ability to translate issues into clear escalations.
• Interest in networking, connectivity, or distributed systems; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage network-related issues escalated from the T2 team.
• Build dashboards, playbooks, and monitors to streamline triage workflows.
• Investigate on-farm connectivity issues and surface insights to improve network performance.
• Collaborate with Network and Fleet teams to detect patterns and improve resolution.
• Upskill the T2 team to resolve more network issues independently.
• Identify recurring problems and drive long-term tooling or process improvements.
• Track key reliability metrics and participate in on-call coverage.
