Job summary

GRAT Farms in the Cambridge area is seeking a Farm Assistant to help run the day-to-day operations on our farm. The role starts on 20 September and runs toward the end of March, with flexibility for negotiation. You will assist with milking, break fencing, and other farm duties as part of a small team.

We value reliable, fit and healthy individuals who communicate well and work calmly with animals. Having your own vehicle is preferred; accommodation on-site can be furnished.

• Previous farming experience preferred but not essential.

Job description

We have a Farm Assistant role available from 20 September on our farm just 10 minutes from Cambridge. This role can be until the end of March (negotiable). The role will involve assisting with the day-to-day running of the farm, including milking, break fencing, and other farm duties. This role is for one person only.

About the farm:

• Relatively flat farm with some rolling country
• Accommodation, which can be furnished.

has previous farming experience (not essential)

has their own vehicle

Roster:

9/2, 8/2 with flexibility for additional time off during quieter periods.
