Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, contract administration, sourcing, or a related commercial environment.
• Confidence building productive relationships and working with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Understanding of public sector procurement practices and Government Procurement Rules, or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge.
• Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Advanced capability across Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and growing your procurement expertise.
• The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-end procurement and tender activities across a high-volume portfolio.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop fit-for-purpose procurement solutions.
• Support supplier selection, contract administration, and performance monitoring activities.
• Maintain accurate procurement and contract information, ensuring strong records management practices.
• Analyse procurement data and trends to identify opportunities for improved outcomes and efficiencies.
• Contribute to the development of procurement tools, resources, and process improvements.
• Provide practical guidance to stakeholders on procurement processes, policies, and best practice.
