Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Grounds & Facilities Assistant to maintain hotel grounds, assist with general maintenance, and support pool and spa safety. You’ll work with the Engineering and Facilities teams to keep the property welcoming and in excellent condition, delivering value through practical problem-solving and teamwork.

This full-time role requires hands-on skills in gardening, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and safe operation of equipment, with availability on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in gardening, groundskeeping, or landscaping.
• Strong practical skills in general building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical work.
• Commitment to health and safety and maintaining high standards.
• Hands-on team player with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and respond to maintenance needs.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Grounds & Garden Maintenance to a high standard.
• General maintenance repairs and upkeep including painting, plumbing, carpentry.
• Operate maintenance and gardening equipment safely and report faults.
• Support pool and spa testing and maintenance.
