Job summary

Hillcrest High School in Hamilton is seeking a property assistant to join the Property team. It is a full-time, permanent role including school holidays. The successful candidate will maintain grounds and buildings, operate and maintain vehicles, and assist with repairs as directed by the Property Manager.

Applicants should have a full NZ driver’s licence, be physically fit for outdoor work, and understand Health and Safety requirements. Police vetting and legal right to work in NZ are required.

Qualifications

• Physically fit to undertake outdoor work.
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage time effectively.
• Sound understanding of Health and Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Mow sports fields and lawns.
• Mark fields for sports events.
• Maintain facilities and equipment, including sports gear.
• Complete building repairs as directed by Property Manager.
• Maintain school vehicles (vans and tractors).
