Job summary

Hillcrest High School in Hamilton, North Island, is seeking a dedicated Lab Manager & Science Technician to support the Science Department. You will help ensure laboratories are safe, prepared, and ready for discovery in a collaborative team environment.

The role is permanent, five days per week from 8am to 4pm, term time only, with NZ residency required and a Police Safety Check. Training and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
• Previous lab experience preferred.
• Familiar with legislation around safe laboratories.
• Strong focus on health and safety in school labs.
