Job summary

PHF Science is seeking a Facilities Coordinator for a 6-month fixed term to coordinate day-to-day facilities operations at Kenepuru Science Centre in Porirua. You will manage visitor access, deliveries, repairs, security, and contractor inductions while ensuring a safe and well-presented site.

On-site Monday to Friday, you will work with a customer-focused approach, supporting health and safety, waste management, and meeting room setups.

• Previous successful experience in facilities or related roles
• Strong customer-focused approach with effective communication skills
• Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills, prioritise and multi-task with ease

• Support Facilities Manager with emergency evacuation procedures.

Facilities Coordinator- KSC 6-month Fixed Term Opportunity

We are looking for a Fixed Term Facilities Coordinator for 6 months to provide efficient and effective coordination of the day-to-day facilities' operational activities at Kenepuru Science Centre in Porirua.

In this role you will be involved in:

• Visitor management and Phone reception.
• Managing inwards/outwards deliveries and mail.
• A range of day-to-day building operations such as repairs, maintenance, security/access control and building management system ,prking and traffic control.
• Induction and coordination of contractors and tradespersons.
• Keeping the site well presented, managing health and safety risks and coordinating activities such as site waste disposal, grounds maintenance, setting up and re-set of meeting rooms.
• Supporting the Facilities Manager with emergency evacuation procedures.
