About the Opportunity |Mō tēnei tūranga
Located in the heart of the Waikato's dairying region, our Waitoa UHT site is one of our newest sites and is renowned for producing fortified UHT milk and cream products destined for growing markets in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan and Guatemala. During peak milk season our Waitoa UHT plant processes up to 400,000 litres of milk per day.
We have an exciting fixed term opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you will support the Waitoa Facilities Manager and coordinate the facilities management activities across the plant, ensuring integration of systems and compliance across both our UHT and Waitoa Operations.
Compliance and safety are essential to ensure efficient site operations and you will support LTO aspects such as Building Warrant of Fitness requirements, fire safety systems, drains, storm and wastewater.
When required you will be willing to jump in and help with site projects and will also support the UHT Engineering Team.
This is a fixed term position until April 2027.
You are resourceful, with a strong team focus, and a drive to continuously improve ways of working. A background in maintenance, coupled with experience working with computerised systems in particular SAP and MS Office suite is ideal. With a strong focus on continuous improvement and planning experience in a maintenance or facilities environment is key.
