Fonterra Te Mātāpuna is seeking an experienced Asset Manager Infrastructure to lead our national infrastructure portfolio. You will shape long-term asset strategies, drive lifecycle planning, and ensure licences to operate, safety and building standards are met while collaborating with sites, vendors and senior leaders.
This role focuses on improving asset performance, reducing risk, and advancing sustainability across roads, drainage, dams, and utility corridors.

As Asset Manager Infrastructure, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Fonterra's infrastructure and facilities portfolio. Reporting to the Asset Manager Infrastructure & Facilities, you'll provide strategic leadership across our national network, ensuring , ensuring fonterra's roads, drainage systems, dams and ponds, utility corridors, pipe bridges, lifting assets, and other critical infrastructure remain safe, compliant, resilient and fit for the future.
You will focus on developing and executing long-term infrastructure asset strategies, lifting organisational capability, influencing key stakeholders and driving consistency across our operations. You'll lead initiatives that strengthen our licence to operate, improve asset performance, reduce risk and support Fonterra's long-term operational and sustainability objectives.
With significant work underway to modernise our asset management approach, you'll have the opportunity to establish Asset Management Plans, improve infrastructure condition visibility, strengthen asset data governance, and drive investment decisions that improve the reliability and resilience of Fonterra's critical infrastructure portfolio.
You'll make a lasting impact by developing asset management plans, enhancing compliance frameworks, improving infrastructure asset maintenance systems, asset data quality and condition assessment processes (including infrastructure assets, roads, drainage, dams and ponds, utility corridors, fixed ladders, lifts, pipe bridges and bunding systems). By partnering with sites and vendors you'll deliver better outcomes across the business.

You're a strategic thinker who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to influence and bring people on the journey. You understand how effective asset and facilities management supports business performance, and you're comfortable working across complex stakeholder environments to achieve long-term outcomes.
You'll bring a blend of infrastructure, civil , or asset management experience, along with the resilience and relationship-building skills needed to drive change across a large and diverse organisation.
