Job summary

Trimax Mowing Systems in Tauranga is seeking a permanent fabricator welder specializing in light/medium fabrication of a high standard. The role focuses on MIG welding of mild steel within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in large-volume fabrication is preferred, but formal trade qualification is not mandatory.

The standard shift is 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with negotiable hours and rates for the right skills and experience. Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabricating using jigs and fixtures.
• Experience in large scale production fabrication, repeatedly producing a high standard of product.
• Conscientious, able to diligently follow SOPs and work to high-quality standards.
• Positivity, great attitude and enjoys working in a close-knit team environment.

The Role

We are looking for permanent fabricator welders who specialise in light/medium fabrication of a high standard. The majority of the work is MIG welding with mild steel. Ideally, you will have experience in a fabrication manufacturing environment producing large volumes of fabricated parts and products.

You do not need to be formally trade qualified, but you must have experience in a transferable field of work.

Our standard shift time is 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday but we are open to alternative work patterns.

So, hours and rates are negotiable depending on the right skills and experience.
