Job summary

Mövenpick Wellington is seeking a Food and Beverage Team Leader to guide our service team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will oversee day-to-day F&B operations, maintain high standards, and support daily guest satisfaction at a premium 5-star property in Wellington.

Ideal candidates will have F&B leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with kitchen staff while ensuring flawless guest billing and service. NZ work eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Food and Beverage service and supervision.
• Strong customer service orientation with VIP guest focus.
• Capability to lead under pressure and manage shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the food and beverage team to deliver efficient, friendly service.
• Ensure F&B services meet established standards and procedures.
• Build relationships with VIP and regular guests to anticipate needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen to ensure timely service delivery.
• Manage shift revenue and balance daily activities with cash/charge summaries.
• Protect equipment, record breakages, and perform stock takes.
• Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness in F&B areas.
• Train staff to maximise sales and ensure service competence.
• Ensure accurate guest billing following hotel procedures.
