Job summary

Ibis Wellington is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the restaurant and bar operations on shift, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will supervise and train the Food & Beverage team to deliver memorable experiences for guests.

This role is a minimum of 32 hours per week on a rotating 7-day roster with AM/PM shifts. A DM certification and LCQ are preferred; NZ citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa are required.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a hotel or F&B setting.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver high guest satisfaction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Proven problem-solving ability under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent time management and ability to work across a rotating roster.
• Flexibility to cover AM/PM shifts across a 7-day roster.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth operation of the F&B department.
• Create a seamless dining experience for guests and ensure service excellence.
• Maintain constant communication with all departments.
• Ensure team members are confident in selling menu and beverage items.
• Supervise the on-duty team to deliver guest satisfaction.
• Train and develop team members on policy, procedures and product knowledge.
• Develop a sales approach to drive business.
• Promote Accor Live Limitless loyalty program.
