Job summary

Hind Management is seeking a Food & Beverage Duty Manager for Sudima Kaikōura. You will lead the F&B team across restaurant, bar, room service and functions, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and revenue growth.

Role requires strong leadership, hospitality passion, and ability to work across a seven-day roster including weekends and holidays. Competitive hourly rate and staff benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervising in hospitality
• Experience in managing food & beverage service areas
• Strong leadership and guest-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Manage the Food & Beverage department while on shift
• Drive revenue to achieve and exceed budgeted revenue
• Account for stock utilized and order through purchasing system
• Prepare cash flow reports and supervise cash handling
• Control costs with forecasted business and profitability targets
• Improve restaurant efficiency and productivity
• Maintain knowledge of liquor laws and responsible service
• Ensure guest service excellence at all times
• Train and manage the restaurant team
• Handle and resolve guest complaints
• Conduct effective shift briefings for staff and VIPs
