KingsWay School invites Laidlaw Bachelor of Education students in their third year to join a Teacher Training Programme for Primary School. The placement provides hands-on experience with one day on site per week at a faith-based school on the Hibiscus Coast, Auckland.

The programme includes remuneration and emphasises developing professional teaching skills within a Christ-centred community, while upholding the school’s Special Christian Character and values.

Our KingsWay School Teacher Training Programme for Primary School teachers offers Laidlaw students in their third year who are enrolled in a Bachelor of Education the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by spending 1 day per week onsite at KingsWay School as part of their learning journey. Enquiries from other providers are welcomed.

This immersive experience includes remuneration and is designed to support aspiring educators in developing their skills within a vibrant, faith-based school environment.

Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a growing roll of over 2000 students. An important condition of your placement in this programme is a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Christian Character of KingsWay School. You will enjoy contributing and promoting a biblically informed, Christ-centred worldview, including how this translates to supporting and growing our students’ faith, and will protect and enhance our Christian character.
