An exciting opportunity has opened up to join our team at the start of 2027 as an Assistant Head of Middle Years - Junior Secondary.

Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of over 2000 students. About the Role

The Middle School (Years 7-10) is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about combining their strong personal Christian faith with educational leadership to join their leadership team as an Assistant Head of School - Junior Secondary (Year 10).We seek a leader with a proven track record of providing supportive educational excellence to continue our ongoing success. This role has a 0.6 teaching component with 0.4 management release and carries 4 SU and 1 MMA.

The successful applicant will have:

• A thorough understanding of the developmental and academic needs of Middle School students
• The ability to build strong personal, community, and team relationships around you through collaborative leadership and exceptional communication
• A sound understanding of the New Zealand curriculum, including curriculum development
• Evidence of leading pedagogical change to enhance educational outcomes for Year 7-10 students
• The ability to inspire and support Middle Years teachers to grow and develop professionally
• A commitment to upholding and modelling biculturalism
• Efficient organisational skills
• Competence in working across a range of IT platforms
