Job summary

Expeditors Auckland seeks an Air & Ocean Export Manager to lead and grow the export product line, ensuring strong operational performance and a high-performance culture in line with company policies.

You will oversee budgeting, pricing, and vendor management while mentoring a team to deliver exceptional service and customer solutions globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Air & Ocean Export team to support business growth and operational flexibility.
• Drive productivity, service performance, and achievement of key operational KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and customer SOPs.
• Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency, service quality, and cost control.
• Support budgeting, P&L management, and overall departmental profitability.
• Manage vendor relationships and costs to optimize service and financial outcomes.
• Partner with Sales to drive customer retention, growth, and new business opportunities.
• Provide pricing, routing, and technical expertise to support customer solutions.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members while building future leaders.
• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, compliance, and company values.
• Champion system enhancements and operational best practices across the department.
