New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is seeking a Research Specialist for an 11-month fixed-term role in the Customer Capability team. You will design and run research projects with NZ businesses aiming to expand overseas, delivering insights that support export decisions and growth.

You will collaborate with Customer Managers and International teams to ensure relevance and impact, and you may contribute to improvements in tools, processes and AI usage across the team.

Qualifikationen

• Storytelling skills to design and present reports visually.
• Confident presenting and public speaking to senior audiences.
• Ability to identify insights from large data sets.

• Run discovery with New Zealand businesses to understand their export goals and design research projects that support growth.
• Deliver projects from planning through data collection and analysis, using primary and secondary research to support commercial objectives.
• Build working networks across NZTE to ensure research matches customer needs and reaches decision-makers.
• Contribute to how the team works, including tools, processes and use of AI.
