We are a smart, polished bistro style restaurant, that has become one of Timaru's most popular.

When guests arrive at the Oxford, you will be able to greet them with old fashioned hospitality principals. This is the restaurant in South Canterbury where our locals and visitors can relax and consistently enjoy the full experience - The Oxford.

We are a small, but energetic crew, with ideas, vision and willing to try unique projects. We have craft beers on tap and a large wine list, that is constantly evolving – so a keen interest in the non-mainstream varieties is needed – or a willingness to taste your way through our list.

This year we won the South Canterbury Business Excellence Awards for medium size business. A key part of our entry was our focus on our team. We look for hospitality career focused people. Providing ongoing professional development is really important to us, such as team wine tastings.
