Job summary
Canstaff is seeking 3 experienced Roading Operators to join our civil construction team in Auckland. You will operate Excavators, Water carts, Loaders, and Rollers on projects from subdivisions to road upgrades, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.
Ideal candidates have Civil Works experience, a Class 2 license or higher, GPS experience, and a WTR endorsement, with NZ citizenship or residency. We offer a strong hourly rate, consistent hours, training, and career development
Qualifications
- Civil Works experience required.
- Spread and level materials knowledge.
- Pavement construction knowledge.
- Road maintenance knowledge.
- GPS experience.
- WTR endorsement.
- Full Class 2 license or higher.
- Compaction knowledge/experience.
- Flexible attitude and strong work ethic.
- NZ citizen or resident.
Responsibilities
- Operate Excavators, Water carts, Loaders and Rollers on site.
- Prepare sites for subdivisions and road upgrades.
- Maintain safety-first working practices.
- Assist with material spreading and leveling as needed.
- Collaborate with crew to ensure project progress.
