Job summary

Canstaff is seeking 3 experienced Roading Operators to join our civil construction team in Auckland. You will operate Excavators, Water carts, Loaders, and Rollers on projects from subdivisions to road upgrades, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have Civil Works experience, a Class 2 license or higher, GPS experience, and a WTR endorsement, with NZ citizenship or residency. We offer a strong hourly rate, consistent hours, training, and career development

Qualifications

• Civil Works experience required.
• Spread and level materials knowledge.
• Pavement construction knowledge.
• Road maintenance knowledge.
• GPS experience.
• WTR endorsement.
• Full Class 2 license or higher.
• Compaction knowledge/experience.
• Flexible attitude and strong work ethic.
• NZ citizen or resident.

Responsibilities

• Operate Excavators, Water carts, Loaders and Rollers on site.
• Prepare sites for subdivisions and road upgrades.
• Maintain safety-first working practices.
• Assist with material spreading and leveling as needed.
• Collaborate with crew to ensure project progress.
