Job summary

Canstaff is seeking 3 experienced Roading Operators to join our civil construction team in Auckland. You will operate Excavators, Water carts, Loaders, and Rollers on projects from subdivisions to road upgrades, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have Civil Works experience, a Class 2 license or higher, GPS experience, and a WTR endorsement, with NZ citizenship or residency. We offer a strong hourly rate, consistent hours, training, and career development

Qualifications

• Civil Works experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Excavators, Water carts, Loaders and Rollers on site.

• Assist with material spreading and leveling as needed.
• Collaborate with crew to ensure project progress.

Infrastructure, Civil Roading company require 3 experienced Machine Operators, specializing in Civil Construction, Asphalt, Paving, Curbing, Channels, Drainage must be certified, with WTR Endorsements

Your Day-to-Day: Connecting the community

As an Equipment Operator in our Roading team, you'll be hands-on, preparing sites for projects from subdivisions to various road upgrades. The ability to operate multiple machines is advantageous and not being afraid to labour will go a long way. Specialized in Civil Construction, Asphalt paving, drainage, & Reinstatement

We're looking for experienced operators of these machines:

• Excavators
• Water carts
• Loaders
• Rollers
• Class 4 Driver

What You'll Need

To hit the ground running, you'll need:

• Experience in the Civil Works industry
• Spread & Level Materials
• Knowledge of Pavement Construction
• Knowledge of Road Maintenance
• GPS Experience
• A WTR endorsement
• A Full Class 2 or higher licence
• Compaction knowledge & experience
• A flexible attitude and a strong work ethic
• A safety-first mindset
• To be a NZ Citizen, Resident.

Nice-to-haves (but not essential):

• Experience driving trucks or other machinery
• Subdivision Work Experience
• NDM (Nuclear Density Meter) Testing Certification
