Boxcrib is seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts. You will work across construction sector clients within a full‑service in‑house agency, shaping strategy and coordinating monthly plans.
You’ll communicate with clients daily, brief the wider team, and ensure timely delivery while managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.
Full-time | 40 hours per week | Office-based on Dominion Road
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join Boxcrib, a specialist construction marketing agency, and take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts.
We work with businesses across the construction sector and operate as a full-service agency, with strategy, content, design, photography, videography and digital marketing all handled in-house.
That means this role is varied, fast-moving and highly collaborative. You’ll be working across multiple clients at once, helping shape strategy, coordinate monthly plans, brief the wider team, manage client communication and make sure everything gets delivered.
This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role for someone who can think strategically, stay calm under pressure, communicate confidently and take ownership when things are moving quickly.

This is not a junior role
This is not a graduate or entry‑level position.
We’re looking for someone with at least five years of relevant marketing experience who can demonstrate a strong understanding of digital marketing and show clear examples of work they’ve been responsible for.
You must have either:
Previous agency experience, ideally managing multiple client accounts; or
Direct marketing experience within the construction sector
If you don’t have experience in at least one of those areas, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.
Qualifications are useful, but practical experience, judgement and a proven track record matter much more to us than a degree.
Strong professional references will also be required.
Communication is essential
You’ll be speaking with clients every day, so excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
You need to be comfortable speaking with business owners, directors and marketing teams, providing updates, discussing strategy, managing expectations and solving problems.
We’re looking for someone who communicates proactively rather than waiting for clients to chase them.
Your role will include:
Taking ownership of a portfolio of client accounts
Planning and delivering monthly marketing plans
Developing client strategy and content plans
Communicating with clients daily
Coordinating social media, graphic design, photography, videography and content creation
Working closely with content creators and the wider production team
Coordinating site visits, shoots and other content opportunities
Co‑ordinating paid advertising, SEO, websites and other digital marketing tools where appropriate
Reviewing results and adjusting plans accordingly
Managing deadlines, deliverables and client expectations
Helping support and provide direction to junior team members
Keeping multiple client accounts moving without things falling through the cracks
Ideally, you’ll have:
5+ years of professional marketing experience
Agency experience or construction‑sector marketing experience
Strong digital marketing experience
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience managing multiple clients, brands or projects
Strong client relationship and account management skills
Experience developing strategy and coordinating its delivery
Strong content planning and social media experience
Excellent organisation and project management skills
The ability to identify problems and work towards solutions without constant direction
Confidence supporting junior team members
If you’ve worked in an agency before, you’ll know things move quickly, clients need close attention and priorities can change fast. You’ll need to be calm under pressure, organised and comfortable taking ownership when something needs attention.
You’ll also need to be commercially minded. We’re not looking for someone who simply completes marketing tasks - you should be able to understand what a client is actually trying to achieve and make sensible decisions about which channels, ideas and activity will help move their business forward.
Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Adobe Creative Suite and Canva would be a strong advantage.
You don’t need to be a specialist in every area. What matters is understanding how the different marketing channels work together and knowing which tools to use for each client.
We’re a growing specialist agency with a strong team culture and plenty of opportunity for the right person to grow with us.
Benefits include:
Regular team events
Pastry Fridays
Incentives to take time off, travel and properly switch off
Genuine opportunities for progression
Future pathways into leadership and management
A preference to promote internally wherever possible
Exposure to a broad range of construction businesses and marketing disciplines
The opportunity to help shape how the agency develops
Beans, our office sausage dog
As Boxcrib grows, more senior and management roles will open up. Wherever possible, we want those opportunities to go to people who have already developed within the business.
This is a full-time, 40‑hour‑per‑week office‑based position at our Dominion Road office.
If you have strong marketing experience, excellent communication skills, can demonstrate the work you’ve done, and are ready to take ownership of clients, strategy and delivery, we’d like to hear from you.
