Job summary

AWF New Zealand is seeking an experienced Concreter to join a well-established civil construction team in Dunedin. You will be hands-on with concrete work across projects, delivering quality finishes while prioritising health and safety on site.

You should have concrete or civil construction experience, be reliable and detail-oriented, and able to work independently or with a team. The role offers full-time hours, ongoing opportunities, and exposure to a range of civil projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in concreting or civil construction.
• Finishing, plastering, or block laying experience is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• Able to work independently and contribute positively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Placing, screeding, and finishing concrete.
• Carrying out trowel and detailed finishing work.
• Concrete plastering and repairs.
• Block laying and associated masonry tasks.
• Assisting with a variety of civil construction activities.
• Following site health and safety requirements at all times.
