Job summary

Kāpiti Coast District Council's Te Ara Whetū library hub is seeking an Experience Coordinator to drive venue bookings and deliver outstanding events and customer experiences. You will build relationships with businesses and organisations, coordinate seamless event delivery, and report to the Hub Lead.

This role requires energy, a customer-focused approach, and a passion for increasing bookings and community engagement in a vibrant library hub environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, venue coordination, events, sales, marketing or relationship management.
• Current and valid NZ Driver licence.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, businesses and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive venue bookings and revenue opportunities for Te Ara Whetū.
• Coordinate seamless event delivery from enquiry to completion.
• Create outstanding experiences for customers at library hubs.
• Work with a passionate team and report to the Hub Lead, Te Ara Whetū.
