Canstaff currently seeks experienced Carpenters and Hammer Hands for our Westport team in New Zealand. Immediate start with weekly pay for residential and commercial projects across a variety of works.

Ideal candidates are safety-minded, with own basic tools. Reside in NZ with valid work visa or residency; permanent local employment is offered with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Carpenters must be trade qualified or journeyman.
• Hammer Hands require 2–3 years' experience.
• Own basic tools; power tools are essential for trades.

Work may include:

• Residential renovations & new builds
• Commercial construction
• Pre-cast construction
• Formwork
• Portable Buildings & Tiny Homes
• Assisting tradespeople with hand/power tools

What we're looking for:

• Carpenters- trade qualified / certified / journeyman
• Hammer Hands- minimum 2-3 years' experience
• Your own basic tools (power tools essential for trades)
• Fit, reliable & safety-minded
• Must be residing in NZ with a valid work or residency visa
