Tradestaff is seeking experienced Carpenter/Joiners to work across Southland and beyond, from residential builds to commercial fit-outs. You’ll be confident with 1st-3rd fix carpentry, read plans, and use a range of hand and power tools.

Reliable transport and references are required; pre-employment drug test may be required. Auckland will be the predominant region of work for this role, however you may also be required to work in Canterbury, Otago, Westcoast, Marlborough and Nelson regions.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience or NZQF Level 4 qualification.
• Own hand and power tools are required.
• Reliable transport to job sites.
• Two solid work references.
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsabilidades

• Residential, commercial & civil carpentry work.
• 1st, 2nd & final fix carpentry and joinery tasks.
• Reading and working from plans, specifications and technical drawings.
• Fabricating, installing and repairing joinery components (doors, windows, stairs, cabinetry, bespoke timber features).
• Framing, subflooring, cladding and roof work.
• Precision fitting and finishing of timber and composites.
• Shuttering joinery & steel tying.
• Operating power tools and machinery for carpentry and joinery.

We’re looking for experienced Carpenter/Joiners who are confident in both carpentry and joinery duties.

Auckland will be the predominant region of work for this role, however you may also be required to work in Canterbury, Otago, Westcoast, Marlborough and Nelson regions. This will be discussed further with the successful applicant.

What we’re looking for:

• A minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience, or
• A relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification (or an overseas qualification recognised by NZQA as comparable).
• Your own hand and power tools
• Reliable transport
• Two solid work references
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
